Jumping off the (Proverbial) Cliff
"Sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck."
I wanted to win the lottery and retire a multi-millionaire. Since that has not worked out, Zas and I decided to take the very scary leap of working for ourselves.
We are spending a lot of time together. No. He is not getting on my nerves. Why does everyone ask that? Every day is fun now. For example, today I baked cookies for the new neighbors; finished a pastel portrait; spread mulch; trimmed the bushes and the herbs (anyone need oregano?); worked on a website; answered work emails; ordered business cards; played guitar; and boiled eggs for egg salad.
All by noon.
I never knew life could be this much fun. Really. I had no idea. Beats going to an office and then coming home too stressed and tiired to do anything... It really has been a wonderful stroke of luck. Winning the lottery would have been wonderfuler, but I'll take this.
